KTS provides contracted in-home and virtual care services to Home and Community Care Support Services – Central East for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work and Speech Language Pathology in Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Haliburton County. Intake can be completed over the phone at 705-874-1072.
We also have therapists available for the following private pay services:
- In-home mobility assessments (walkers, wheelchairs) $120-140/hr
- In-home assessment/treatment – please call
- Fine motor assessment/treatment – $140/hr
- Sensory Processing assessment/treatment – $140/hr
- Educational sessions to community agencies or facilities for safe transfers, use of lift equipment, falls prevention and home safety – please call for a quote
**Please note – KTS currently has a full caseload for SLP treatment and is not accepting new clients at this time.** Speech Language Pathologists ($150/hr) provide in-home and virtual assessment and intervention for people of all ages:
- infants
- preschoolers
- school-aged children
- adults and seniors
Our SLPs can provide education for clients, families and caregivers and can also consult with other professionals and community partners, hospitals, group homes and physicians.
KTS SLPs can help with:
- Speech, articulation, phonology
- Language, listening comprehension, verbal expression, reading comprehension and written expression
- Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Language Disorder
- Aphasia, Dysarthria, Apraxia of speech
- Cognitive communication disorders
- Social communication and pragmatic skills
- Learning disabilities, dyslexia, literacy skills, spelling, reading skills
- Stuttering, cluttering, fluency skills
- Voice, resonance, nasality
